Spinning Dyeing of wool:
Raw wool is cleaned and then hand spun or mill spun to convert into yarn. Fresh spun yarn is then submerge into dye baths.
Knotting:
A continuous yarn is wrapped around two warps and then once around a temporary rod, creating a loop. After a row of loops is finished, the row is cut to construct the knots.
Weaving:
The weaver meticulously ties each knot, creating the pile of the rug.
Finishing:
Once the weaving is complete, the excess fabric is clipped to create a flat and even surface.

Wool, silk, and cotton are the primary materials used, with wool being the most common for the pile and cotton for the warp
